Spend a Day at the Beach

Living in the Culture Day Trip:
Spend a Day at the Beach

Enjoy a relaxing day at Playa Dona Ana, a small park and beach popular with Tico families, complete with monkeys and iguanas in the trees.  In this beautiful tropical setting you can feed bananas to the monkeys, swim, sunbathe, walk the dark sand beach, toss a Frisbee, enjoy a picnic lunch (included) and maybe watch some surfing.

Stop on the way back to shop for souvenirs, hammocks, or cigars and maybe even have a milkshake made to order by the American expat owner.

Cost: $50 per person including transportation from San Ramon, lunch, and entrance fees.

Customize your Costa Rican experience by adding overnight accommodations of your choice (for an additional charge) to your Living in the Culture Day trips.
