My story (we all have one!)-in a nutshell is as follow: Born in Bethlehem (then Jordan/now Israel-Palestinian Authority); moved to Damascus-Syria then Beirut-Libanon. Then moved again back to Amman-Jordan to finish H.S then off to Zaragoza-Spain to graduate as MD in 1980. Then back to Jordan for two years to get my Licence and SERVE/VOLUNTEER in my community. Then off to San Francisco, California where I met my sweet heart Mai from Ramallah-Palestine. Got married with two children now grown up and now happy/succesful. I managed to work at different settings here in teh US (CV will be forwarded soon) where we lived comfortably. Yet deep inside I always had a nagging desire to provide my wife a comfortable retirement to spend together and give back to my community! I was so inspired by you Paul & Gloria and it became as a moment of Epiphani to me when I navigated your simple yet powerful web-site. I deeply share the three basic principles you espouse, where we can bring our Experience to share with the Ticos and Ex-Pats like you: *Economize (Conserve) *Enjoy (Contentment) *Easy living/going (CO-OP) learn from Kibutz Philosophy...SIMPLIFY...and GO Green! I believe in Miracles and Dreams with people like you who empower us as Baby Boomers who aspire and believe in late Blooming as Agatha. C says...we as Baby Boomers aspire to write our last Chapter of our Life ( we come around...once!) to close the curtain with a Big Bang!
