El Castillo de Relajamiento Cabinas in Beautiful San Ramon, Costa Rica

Cabinas of Costa Rica

This is where Paul and I lived for our first four years in Costa Rica. If you will be visiting the Central Valley and are looking for a great place to stay with more features than a standard hotel room, this is the place!  Each picturesque cabin is approximately 550 sq ft (51 sq m), ideal for a small family.

Each cabin features one of the following 2 bedroom arrangements: both with queen beds, or one with queen bed and one with queen/single bunk set. Other features include a large living room, eat-in kitchen, hot water, satellite television, all utilities (including electricity), and wireless internet access.

Someone on the property around the clock, weekly housekeeping service and a full-time gardener are also provided.  Laundry facilities are available at no cost, and both bus (about $.35 one way) and taxi service (about $5.50 one way) into town are readily available.

To receive more information including rates and availability, contact the bilingual property manager, Cesar by completing and submitting the form below. Comments or questions are welcome.

Hello Paul, I just viewed for the first time, your video of your porch etc…Beautiful of course…I was wondering though during the filming of it, we hear loud traffic noise??? Do you live near a highway??? Anyway, my son, daughter-in-law and me and my wife are coming for a visit in 10 days. We are going to be staying at the Cocomar hotel? My son and his wife visited CR for the first time last year, and raved about it. So, we decided come and see it also. Thank you for your time in doing what you are doing. I am a retired Deputy Sheriff and we may find it in our future to spend several months during a year down there mingled with traveling the USA….

      Hi Britt,
Glad you find our website helpful. Yes, the cabinas are located right on the PanAmerican highway (Rt. 1) and our cabina was the closest to the road noise, though we couldn’t actually see the highway. To be honest, we got used to it. We moved two months ago to a house that is 5 minutes from the highway and the only sounds are those in nature. We’re loving it.
      Thanks for writing.
